For the past seven years, Pearl has employed recent graduates or people with some work experience in the Pearl Academy. During the trainee period, they are placed with customers, and get to experience what it is like to be a consultant.
In August, this year's program for ten new talents started and we have asked them some questions to get to know them better! Trainees have varied, exciting and educational days in an inclusive working environment.
Read about what Vilma, Magnus and Johanne say about the program.

How did you become a trainee in Pearl?
- I studied a master's degree in Business Administration at Linköping University and during the last semester I started thinking about what I wanted to work with after graduation. I wanted to work with finance, that was obvious, but I also had a desire to work with technology as it was a great interest I had.
I then got in touch with Pearl Group through a portal for trainee programs and became immediately interested as the ad seemed to describe what I had been looking for in a role!

The best thing about working at Pearl is their culture. Pearl arranges many social events and I get to meet and work with so many competent and enthusiastic people.

Since then, the days have varied in everything from reading to certifications to working with customers. Furthermore, much of the working time involves shadowing their mentor or other colleagues to see how they work and to learn as much as possible.

How did you become a trainee at Pearl Group?
- I was in the middle of writing the exam and had just started my master's thesis when my colleagues from my studies asked if I had also secured a job after my studies. Everything else was put on the side and I began diligently looking for a job. On Finn.no, I came across an ad that stood out compared to others. If I ended up at Pearl Group, I would have the opportunity to learn about SAP and my field (Insight) in a good way without being thrown into it. Throughout the search process and interviews, I noticed that the people here want each other well and that they do well. It made the choice to start working here much easier.

What's the value of being a trainee here?
- It is an educational environment where you can ask questions to everyone. Everyone has their field of knowledge that contributes with my own learning. The learning takes place through a practical approach where you have a close support both on your workload and on tasks while also it gives you theoretical learning by SAP's international certifications and literature.
What's the best thing about the job?
- I learn something new every day! Whether it's through a theoretical aspect of Pearl/SAP/customers, the practical features or the people who work there; it's just as fascinating every time.
