During the summer, we welcomed seven new coworkers to our teams in Latvia, Sweden, and Norway.
"It is with joy we welcome Olga, Aleksandrs, Kristiāns, Roberts, and Armands! These are five highly skilled and experienced employees who will help strengthen us even more within E-commerce, UX, and analytics," says Pearl Group's Latvia manager, Trond Pedersen.
For the relatively new branch in Sweden, it's always extra exciting with new additions.
"We warmly welcome Martin to our logistics team and are thrilled to have such an experienced consultant join our team," says team leader Cecilia Kalander.
Norwegian CEO Bernhard Olsen is also delighted with his new consultant addition.
"It is always great finding new people that are a good match for the company, and we have really done that with Dorota," says Olsen.
Olga Haidarova
Olga is Pearl Latvia's new UX researcher. She came from Pearl's former subsidiary, TRY Pearl, and before that, she was a senior UX architect and worked with design for fintech.
Olga is super active in her spare time, doing everything from wakeboarding and roller skating in the summer to snowboarding in the winter. In addition, she is a big fan of everything Spanish – food, films, and everything else about Spanish culture.
"I am really looking forward to working with Pearl and trying my hand in sectors other than fintech," says Olga.
Aleksandrs Zaharčenko
Aleksandrs takes on the role of E-commerce developer at Pearl Latvia. He has worked for nine years delivering projects on the Magento E-commerce platform, which he will continue to work with at Pearl.
After work, Aleksandrs is busy renovating his house. He also likes to travel and is interested in stock investment.
"I am excited to join Pearl and to keep on working with Magento to help customers reach the next level of E-commerce," says Aleksandrs.
Armands Bicis
Armands is starting as a Commerce Consultant in Pearl Latvia. He has previously worked with Java and SAP Commerce Cloud at Accenture Baltics.
Before entering the IT industry, Armands worked for the Riga Water Company for 20 years. Then, about four years ago, he decided to follow his dream of working with programming and took a few courses before landing the job at Accenture.
"I am very pleased and excited to be able to join Pearl Group, and I believe I will be able to grow professionally here," says Armands.
Roberts Ketlers
Robert is Pearl Latvia's new Data Insight and SAP Analytics Consultant. He has previously worked in financial planning and analysis and investments before he – as he puts it – converted from finance to the data warehouse religion and is now excited to join the more radical SAP cult!
In his spare time, Roberts spends time with his wonderful wife and amazing two-year-old son. He also enjoys all sorts of sports, traveling, and concerts.
"I am happy to join Pearl as our core values seem to be very much aligned, and I'm excited to join a large and well-known SAP partner," says Roberts.
Martin Wastesson
Martin joins one of the logistics teams in Pearl Sweden as a senior consultant. He has more than 15 years of experience consulting in SAP and logistics processes and has worked in different companies, primarily within the retail industry.
When Martin isn't working, he enjoys spending time in nature, preferably with running shoes or skis on his feet and together with friends or family.
"Pearl is going through an exciting journey with many interesting projects. I'm looking forward to being a part of this, together with a lot of competent and fun people," says Martin.
Dorota Wanat
Dorota is Pearl Norway's new Finance consultant. She has worked with SAP for eight years and now joins the PearlCare team.
In her spare time, Dorota likes to go for walks, cycle, and travel. In addition, she spends a lot of time training her poodle, Benek!
"After a long time in a big corporation, I am looking forward to working in a more local company with a greater variety of customers," says Dorota.
